We have just spent a wet and windy weekend at Baby Moon in the yurt for my daughter's birthday. The girls had a fantastic time, braving the elements in the hot tub and going for a ghostly walk in the woods on the first night. The yurt proved to be a sturdy structure during Storm Darragh (thank goodness!!!).If you enjoy going back to basics and don't mind living without all your typical luxuries then you will have a fabulous time. It's a great place feel at one with nature.I think next time we will try and go when it's not so stormy though!

Stayed in Apothecary a wooden yurt this week with three friends this week and had a wonderful time. Baby moon is a truly special place, relaxing and hidden away with gorgeous surrounding woodland and fields. The yurt has comfy cosy beds with freshly laundered bed linen, it’s full of quaint candle lit lanterns and has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm.We were able to borrow camping chairs and sit around a outdoor fire on a November night truly magical. We also booked the wood fired hot tub and enjoyed a dip in the dark surrounded by trees and nature, a wonderful experience. There’s a kitchen area with double stove provided for your use, along with pots and pans and everything you need including a sink for washing up.Toilet block with three toilets and a shower too.Baby moon provides a great outdoor glamping experience in a rustic eco friendly environment. Aimee and family are so welcoming and fabulous hosts, we will definitely be back!

With a mission to plan a Stag Do without the typical expectations, we decided to choose Baby Moon. We were a little apprehensive in booking after seeing many reviews with Hens rather than Stags, but Aimee was brilliant in making us feel welcome. We chose to do our activities off-site, but there are plenty of activities to pre-book at Baby Moon & even ones which cater for for us men which are worth taking a look at.Having such an open space and a chilled environment gave us all chance to catch up properly, we BBQ'd some great food, chilled in the hot-tub, lit fires, played games etc (with a handful of beers too of course). We booked the whole place out which gave us privacy & Aimee was around to give us a hand with any needs. There is ample sleeping space for large groups & the heating stoves in the tents were a must for the evening!!The feedback from our group was great & its definitely worth considering over the usual stag do's.Hopefully see you again in the near future!

I stayed at Baby Moon for a weekend with eight friends for my hen do, and we had the most amazing weekend! The site was perfect for a weekend away from the city, and the accommodation was all unique and comfortable. The wood-fired hot tub was also brilliant. We did the bath bomb making and axe-throwing workshops and thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

We stayed in the Apothecary Yurt for three nights with our three young children and had the most incredible time! The Yurt was cozy and well decorated with candle lamps dotted around, and we enjoyed having campfires just outside the door every night. The woodland is ideal for kids to explore and scramble around, and the location is central to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline. Loved every minute, many thanks Baby Moon! 😃

Lovely night stay, very peaceful and tranquil and the weather was beautiful. Fire pit outside and gorgeous wood burner inside just made it . Candles at night just add to the ambience. Owner Aimee very helpful as was her daughter.

I recently organised a weekend yoga retreat at baby moon, and it was beyond perfect! Beautiful setting, quirky comfortable accommodation, easy to organise/communicate and amazing catering. My guests had a great weekend and were full of praise for the venue. It really is the perfect spot for yoga retreats and events.

We traveled from London for a hen-do here and we were all completely blown away! The site is gorgeous and very well set-up with fire pits everywhere and several communal areas. The mains beds & bedding in the huts were of luxurious quality and the surrounding woodland is also stunning - with wild garlic, a stream and more communal areas. The value for money was extremely good for 3 nights with a 3-course feast provided for 15 of us and a Sunday workshop - we did the felt-soap making workshop which was unbelievably therapeutic and accessible for everyone in their varyingly fragile states. If traveling in a group, purchasing group train tickets saved us a lot of travel money.

Thank you Baby Moon for the most perfect hen weekend ever! We came from london and were worried about the long journey but It was SO worth it. The cosy yurts/bell tents, adventure in the surrounding woods, the decor in the workshop room and the feast and felt soap workshop (were all now obsessed with felting) were all so special. It Was amazing getting to know Aimee and family, who were present and supportive but not invasive. We spent every night singing and dancing around the campfire and felt totally free! If you’re coming remember to check what kitchen stuff they have in case you need them, but pretty much everything was there available - and if not Aimee was willing to provide it!Thanks so much and can’t wait to return!

What a delightful place to be for me to dip my toe into 'camping' at the grand age of 58! I've always managed to avoid invites from happy camper friends but reluctantly said 'yes' to Baby Moon Camp ... and surprised myself how much I enjoyed it. I know the group of friends you go with help to make a break away good fun but the facilities at Baby Moon Camp and its location make it the perfect place to just 'be'. Rising early to watch the sunrise and listening to nature waking up with a strong coffee cooked on the outdoor stove never felt so good. Thank you Baby Moon Camp for the most enjoyable weekend with you - who'd have thought it? Not I! I will be back and that's a certainty, Alison x
