Yes. The campfire is central to the Baby Moon experience. A basket of firewood is provided for yurt stoves. Because we care about using the Earth’s resources wisely additional wood can be purchased for £5 a sack. Contact reception or the site number if you need more wood during your stay. Why not combine your logs with other guests and build a community campfire? Please leave the deadwood in the woods for the beetles and other creatures!
There are no sockets, wifi, fridges or microwaves in the accommodations. (Except for Luna Lodge which does have some solar power, and a fridge, hob and shower.) We would like to point out that glamping is still camping, (except with chandeliers), and so you will need to unplug for a little while. We think you might enjoy this opportunity to try new things or to get some peaceful relaxation:-) Don’t worry too much – You can get a phone signal! If you truly can’t disconnect there is the opportunity to emergency charge in reception and there is a weak wifi option in reception too.
No, for the comfort of all our guests we do not allow pets at Baby Moon. However we make exceptions for tortoises and unicorns.
Therapies and workshops are available to book in advance. The forest is available to explore, please respect our rewilding camp in the forest, it has been lovingly developed and we have decided not to cordon it off but PLEASE PLEASE respect its structures and don’t mess around with tools or kit boxes.
